US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Tier miles counting from last year?
I don't normally save my e-statements, so I can't recall this one, but didn't people get some kind of notice that their 2001 tier miles that were above the standard levels in would be added to the 2002 miles?
Example: You flew 60,000 tier miles. That's 10,000 more than the standard Gold level, therefore those extra 10K would be added to this years mileage.
I'm going from memory here, so someone please clarify this for me. If it is correct, then I'm wondering if/when we see the points on our current tier mileage counter.

That was only for CP members I believe ...

I seem to remember that that offer was just for CP's who flew more than 100k.

I had 109K preferred miles last year but the preferred miles count was reset to zero at the beginning of 2002.
So far I haven't received the extra 9K tier miles from last year. Can anyone point me to this offer so that I can talk to the CP desk? Thanks.

IRC, The discussion said they'd post on 3/1
It came in my November estatement and said anything over 100K or 100 segemnts would be credited by March 15.

I checked my November estatement and didn't find any such offer. Not in Oct. or Dec. estatement either.
biggs, did you reach or near 100K before your Nov. estatement? I only had 86K by Nov. estatement.
This is good news then - I finished the year with 117,000 and have thus far only flown 1900, with 4000 more coming up this weekend. My new project has me in New York all the time, so I'm racking up Amtrak points. Yipee.

Word is we get them before the end of March. I have over 30,000 myself.
I hit 101 segments by the end of September so I had requalified for CP before they announced the lowered limits for the Preferred levels.

The credit applies to both tier miles over 100K and segments over 100. IIRC, the credits are supposed to show up on the March statement, so we probably won't actually see them until mid-April...I saved the email on my home PC and I'm on the road tonight.

Here's the note from the November E-Statement:
YOU ARE ALREADY ON YOUR WAY TO EARNING 2003 CHAIRMAN'S PREFERRED STATUS!
In appreciation for your continued loyalty, all of the Preferred Miles and Segments you fly beyond 100,000 miles and 100 segments in 2001 will be added to your 2002 Preferred Miles and Segments balance. That means that you are already on your way to 2003 Chairman's Preferred status. The miles and segments will be added by March 15, 2002. Keep on flying - and continue to enjoy the many exclusive benefits your distinguished status brings.
