Maybe there is more demand from YVR? http://www.ocregister.com/news/canada-279845-wayne-john.html i would think there would be more demand from YVR, especially for leisure travellers, at least vs. YYZ. For families going to Disneyland, this would be easier than LAX. And I think there would be more demand from westcoast to SNA than out east. From what I understand familes out east primarily go to Orlando / Disneyworld vs. Orange County / Disneyland. However, article didn't indicate that WS was looking at YVR-SNA or what the route would be, assuming all approvals occur. j. It appears that Westjet recently did a brief noise test flight at SNA. http://www.airliners.net/aviation-forums/general_aviation/read.main/5010049/ tcook052 Dec 15, 10, 10:21 pm It appears that Westjet recently did a brief noise test flight at SNA. As was noted in the article OP linked: WestJet will conduct noise tests at JWA on Tuesday, part of a vetting process designed to keep the peace in surrounding neighborhoods.
