US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - flights.com reservations

I talked to a rep at flights.com. He told me the following:

Economy class bookings are made in either H or M class. Business class bookings are in C(intl.)or A(domestic). He also said that the flights are eligible for any applicable airline mileage, and that the tickets are not considered consolidator fares by the airlines. In fact, when you book you are asked for your FF# for the respective airline.

Thought that I would bring this forward - Has anyone had any difficulty with this outfit ? Are their fares good from points beyond the gateway , such as LAX ? If C is available on itn, then can I assume flights.com can book their fares ? Is C upgradeable to F ? I assume no limo at LGW ?? THANKS for any input

My boss needed a PIT-FRA business class ticket over the summer. Someone else was buying the ticket, but like me, he's frugal. When I told him about flights.com (aka tiss), he went for it. He got a C ticket on US for about $2400. The only 'catch' was that they charged an additional fee for him to use a credit card.

My boss got all the appropriate bonuses, etc associated with a normal US ticket - and highly recommends them. He even tried to get the other people making the above trip to use them, but they just bought J tickets direct from US!

He has another flight coming in April, and has been checking them out again. He's planning on sending them a check this time to save the CC fee ;-)

I believe flights.com is the old TISS database, which a lot of "brick & mortar" consolidators book out of. IIRC, some will waive the CC fee.
