I know I saw the details on this challenge for 4th quarter posted here. I did a search and I couldn't find the details. What is the promo code? Also did I dream that someone provide a URL to the US site with the details?
I want to call US later and would like to have the details in case of any confusion on their part.
Thanks and Happy New Year!!!

Hopefully the crack team of Flyertalk US Airways Code breakers will post some good news soon. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
There's no reason to suspect they wouldn't offer the challenge since they're still trying to get folks back in the air and this is as good a way as any!

As I know someone who would make the Gold challenge easily over the next month, I posed the question to the Gold desk today. The individual I spoke with told me that there were no challenges at the moment and that they typically don't offer the challenges until after 3/1. I got the impression that the 'discounted' elite levels are having an impact on whether or not they will offer any challenges in the new future. I think they are still counting their chickens to see how many are left. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Err.. I thought the discounted elites ended the 31st of Dec.
Not picking a fight, heck I don't really care how I get there. It's just more convenient to punch the ticket straight away and not worry about it. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I think BillMorrow was saying that there were a larger number of new Gold Preferreds due to the lowered qualification levels and they don't want to dilute the pool anymore.
The reduced level qualification offer did end on 12/31.

Bouncer,
Don't worry about seeming to pick a fight. I generally stick to the facts around here (unless I'm given the opportunity to razz Chexfan http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif ) and don't take offense too easily.
Chexfan is correct in what I meant. That is, that US seems to be unsure as to what marketing stratagies to use for the current business climate. With the just announced double elite status mileage for most 'business' (not c,j) tickets, I think it is less likely for them to start a challenge program now.
