As I recall, TeleUpgrade was "temporarily" removed about 6-8 months ago because it (somehow) could not be programmed to exclude ESavers, consolidator, bulk, etc. fares. (DL has certainly figured out how to exclude LUser fares on its system.)
When I called last night in a futile attempt to upgrade, I noticed that TeleUpgrade is still a prompt, but (of course) still doesn't work. Instead, I was again transferred to the nastiest GP agent I have ever dealt with, who informed me that no seats were available, and hung up without even giving the "waitlist" option or saying goodbye.
It's rather obvious that agents hate dealing with these requests. (After last night, I'm becoming less of a fan as well.) Has anyone heard anything about TeleUpgrade coming back? Internet upgrade requests?
