I've got 4 SWU's that are set to expire as early as March, 2002. At present I have no plans to use any of them.
However, if anyone wants to take me anywhere in Europe for a quick weekend between now and the end of February, departing from the Midwest (MSP/CHI/MKE), I'll be glad to ride with you in Envoy class courtesy of my SWU's.
Interested? I'm at mrscialfa@aol.com

I guess others have laughed at your request, but what the heck- I will have much more time than money after next week. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif
I have some SWUs and offer upgrades for a ticket too. Also have a AMEX Platinum for the 2x1 business class deal. Note, I have been successful in getting bumped from confirmed business to first on this program too. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

Since everyone else is laughing, might as well toss in my two cents. I also have four SWU's going to waste. Unless you're a shapely female, of course -- my wife would kill me then http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Actually, I've received a couple of serious inquiries.
Look at it this way: The ticket I'm looking for shouldn't run much more than $400. And if I could simply "gift" my SWU's (like UA), that "gift" would probably be worth at least that much.

It is a different proposal comparing to those one usually sees here... Nevertheless it's quite reasonable from an economical point of view...
An upgrade and someone to chat during a flight to Europe... Different yet more than reasonable.
After all I've seen lots of posts of people finding other people for a Mileage Run. This one is looking for someone and also offering an upgrade!
Very interesting !
