US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Deadline for Gold to get 2001 package?

I am a few segments away from gold. Does anyone know the deadline to make gold so that I get the 2001 package as well as 2002?

I have read previously on FT that the deadline (for all status upgrades) in order to get current year packets is 12/15. I am thinking of doing some mileage runs to reach CP. However, say I do a run on 12/12, and then the miles for the run would probably hit my account on 12/15. I wonder if I will still get the packet or not. Also am I correct in assuming that if I get a 2001 packet even in December that the enclosed SWU's will expire 2/02?

My experience last year was better than that. My 2000 silver package (qualified in Nov) had SWU's that expire 1/31/2002; and the 2001 silver package had 3/31/2002.

YES. Make sure all miles and/or segments are flown on or before 12/14/01.

My silver pack arrived today. I had enrolled in the silver/gold challenge. The SWUs and North American upgrades all expire 11/30/2002.

What day to you fly your last qualifying flight? I'm trying to estimate how long it takes them to arrive. The rumor I've heard is that they get mailed out on the 30th and the 15th. I'm worried that since my last flight was on the 29th I won't make the end-of-the-month batch, and will have to wait a month before I see any upgrade coupons.

For domestic it doesn't matter, once I locked in gold I started flying Delta again since I can get upgrades there, just until my upgrade certificates on US come in. But I've got an international flight that I'd really like to use it on.

My 10th flight (the qualifying one) was on 10/20, packet received in the mail sometime between 11/6 and 11/8 (I don't check my mail at this address every day.)
