Strong wind and severe thunderstorms are creating havoc in the NYC area:
Overhead Wire Problems in New York and New Jersey Disrupting Northeast Corridor Service into and out of Penn Station

Amtrak Northeast Corridor service into and out of Penn Station in New York has been temporarily suspended due to overhead wire problems near Newark, New Jersey and on the Hellgate Line near the Hunts Point section in Bronx, NY.
Amtrak personnel are working to resolve the problems, with no estimate for restoration of service available at this time.
And the NYC-area airports are showing 2+ hour delays. Hello, Fung Wah!
