US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Shortest, Cheapest, direct flight from BWI

Does anyone know what the cheapest direct flight from BWI would be? I need two segments to retain Silver for next year. With all of these changes USAir is making at BWI, it is a lot harder to get directs.

Columbus -CMH can be as low as $72
Boston - BOS, can be als low as $92


check out anywhere southwest flies, thats your best bet, they tend to match.

I am trying to think...Nashville, Providence, Cleveland, Norfolk, and Buffalo are Southwest spots...anything else that US would fly direct?

The cheapest I could find is BOS for $85.50 total (non-stop). First valid date is Dec. 12. Return same day if you want. You can route via PHL and LGA for 6 segments ($105.50 total).

$68 to BUF, 1 night stay required.

Airtran starts BWI service on 12/12, so a lot of cities will be cheaper starting then.

Assuming WN has commenced service, I put my money on ORF.

OTOH, why not just take the Shuttle DCA-LGA for $102 r/t and not have to stay overnight (fly Saturday)?

I did not check any dates or specific flights, but RDU has often been a cheap, same-day return destination from BWI. And it isn't metrojet so there are seats into which one can upgrade.

Wow. That is ****ed good. I just booked that one myself. $75.50 booked through the usairways.com web site. Fly up in the morning, and back in the afternoon. No overnight stay; no nothing. And F class seats are to be had.

So, 1000 miles for the trip, 1000 miles for double miles, 1000 for online booking, 500 miles for Silver bonus, 75 miles for DM Miles Visa = 3575 miles x .02 = $71.50 in miles. The trip that pays for itself.
