I received that same email, but the funny thing was I did take them up on their offer last week.

Yes I got the same email. I have flown 2 trips and will fly the 3rd over the weekend since the promo started.

13 destinations??? Huh?

Maybe they meant 13 Trans-atlantic flights???

Maybe someone included the Deutche BA code-shares that have never been part of a US award before?

9 Cities that US actually serves (LGW, MAN, CDG, MAD, FCO, AMS, BRU, FRA, & MUC) and then 4 (HAM, BER, DUS and CGN) Deutsche BA cities from MUC.

Sorry Geo you are wrong,
I have used award travel from CGN Cologne/Bonn Germany via Munich and PHL to CMH , so you can use the codeshare on deutsche BA when travelling on award tickets.
At least that was the case around two years ago. I asume that is also the case the other way around and includes DUS, Berlin and Hamburg the other Code Share destinations.
If it also covers the 35.000 miles promotions is another question.
By the way Deutsche BA has very nice and friendly service on the short 40 to 60 minutes flights and flys on a one class all leather seat concept and very often you can have a 3 seat row to yourself giving plenty of space.
