I got to playing around with this fare on Orbitz and came up with a nice 12k run for about $428. MHT-PIT-FRA-PIT-MHT and you can leave on Saturday, arrive on Sunday, and leave a few hours later that same day.

Is this fare on orbitz the same "esaver"? If so, the A330 isn't that bad in coach!

Quite simple, all you have to do is type in the wrong airports:
mht-pit-fra-pit-fra (http://gc.kls2.com/cgi-bin/gc?PATH=mht-pit-fra-pit-fra%0D%0A&PATH-COLOR=red&PATH-UNITS=mi&RANGE-STYLE=best)

Whoops! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/redface.gif The real mileage is about 9.2k.

I'm not sure. It gave the same pricing as the esaver on US, in fact I started with a flight schedule from the US web site for comparison and then started moving the dates closer together to see when the price would explode...and it didn't.

I can think of worse ways to earn 9k miles than one trip in international coach. You get personal video, the meal isn't too bad, drinks are free(albeit not that fancy), and you can pick up wine and chocolate at FRA.

To earn the same miles flying domestic I'd need to fly to the west coast twice, LAS if I didn't want a stay over.

Anyone want to do a FRA run in November?
