US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Eticket converted to paper - No online booking bonus?

On my return from Cleveland a few weeks ago I got to the airport and asked the agent at the Club if I could get on the non-stop CLE-CLT flight instead of doing CLE-PHL-CLT. She said no problem and put me right on the flight in First Class. However, she said she needed to convert my ticket to paper for whatever reason and did that. It's over two weeks later now and I have not received an online booking bonus for this trip. I'm thinking that the conversion to paper must have futzed that up ... anyone know anything about this?

BTW, I have no intention of bringing this up with US Airways because of the scads of other bonuses I'm receiving, as we've discussed before I'd rather not have anyone looking at my account.

I'm with you on not wanting to talk to anyone at US since I just received a triple, triple,AARP bonus for GSO-CLT-ATL trip.
I purchased our tickets online & the booking bonus did not post either. Our flight was cancelled & we had to go to the counter to get new tix. Don't know if this had anything to do with not receiving the booking bonus.
Several weeks ago I purchased tix online for 4 friends to NYC. Their mileage posted but not the online booking bonus. I emailed US & the bonus was posted promptly.

It's possible the paper conversion may have futzed it up since you didn't fly the exact itinerary that was booked, but don't be surprised if it shows up! I've converted e-tickets to paper on many occasions (especially if I've flying internationally to the Caribbean, Europe or Canada) and sometimes I get the on-line bonus and sometimes I don't. Like you said, it's not worth the 1,000 miles to have someone scutinize the account. Pray that the Dividend Miles God will smile on you and grant your wish! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

I've NEVER gotten any form of online booking bonus unless I've called or e-mailed asking for it. And I book most of my trips on the US website.

I had this problem when I booked a ticket under 'chex' while 'chexfan' is the name on my DM account.

Oh my! You're absolutely right. I'll have to try changing one of them and see what happens...

Well, looks like I spoke too soon ... I did finally get my online booking bonus, including 500 bonus miles for using my Dividend Miles Visa, posted to my account this morning, 2-1/2 weeks after the trip. That's the longest US has ever taken to do it for me though.

Sometimes you have to give the Dividend Miles Gods a little more time! They're working overtime these days trying to keep up with all these bonuses and to make sure that you get every mile that you're entitled to (and a few EXTRA)! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif
