There was a cruise my wife and I were going to take in January, I found a flight, and we were all set to book thru Carnival. I was looking at hotels for the night before/after the cruise, and I saw Hilton's advertisement for HH points through Cruises.com.

I was happy to get 24K bonus points for something I was going to purchase, the only difference ws the $25 booking charged by CruisesOnly.

Here is where I made a mistake...after looking at two ALMOST identical cruises for several days in a row, I booked the wrong cruise after I had it time out twice when I was reviewing the details, etc. The cruise we wanted left the same day, went to the same ports, just in a different order and on a different ship.

I only realized this after I got my confirmation... so I called the toll free # and told them my predicament and I told them, I probably already know the answer, but what are the chances that I can change ships... she said she needed to talk to a supervisor, put me on hold a couple times, came back and said the switch was successful, and I even had the same cabin # as the other trip.

While my trip wouldn't have been ruined because of my oversight, it was nice to see the service in Customer Service!!
