US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Online booking bonus?

Hi,

Can you get the 1,000 mile bonus for booking travel on usair.com for someone else?

Are there any better bonuses avail. for booking online.

No I mean't would i get the miles just for booking online even if I wasn't the person flying.

No, because your DM account number is never assigned to their record. You are just using your credit card and the billing process is actually handled by Travelocity. I'm sure they don't have cc numbers and DM account numbers sync'd up.

If you book online for another flyer, the flyer will receive the online booking bonus not the person paying.

#2281 Earn 10K bonus miles for booking online three times at USAirways.com. Earn 3K for the first two bookings, and 4K after the third online booking. Travel must be completed by 30 June 2001 and registration is required prior to travel.

Does the 3K hit the account right after booking or after flying?

Correct, chexfan, it is 3/3/4 and it includes the 1k internet bonus. I also had trouble with the bonus posting so the DM service center had to manually add the miles. Others on Flyertalk had reported similar problems.
