Hello,

I just wanted to share that any registered Student Advantage member (www.studentadvantage.com) who registers their USAIR FF number through their website is entitled to 5,000 bonus miles the first time they book with USAIR Online. This is in addition to other bonuses. The great thing is that you can really make a short trip mileage efficient, for example my favorite trip PHL to BOS

1000 Regular Flight MIles
1000 Online booking bonus
500 Dividend Miles Credit Card Bonus
500 Student Advantage
130 (cost of ticket with miles on Credit Card)
Thats over 3.1k for a trip that usually costs a bit over $100. Your first trip this way would give you 7,600 k miles. Plus combinable with any of the other bonuses that are out there, like double miles from BWI.

Hope this can help someone, especially college students (or recent ones) who like to travel. Im on my way to 95k to go to australia, just need about 20k more.

Hey there,

I have signed up and renewed my student advantage membership for next year already. I am taking a ATL-CLT-SFO-PHL-ATL route this weekend. Have the 5,000 bonus miles started to show up yet? I will get this along with the 3,000 mile bonus from code 2281, double miles for being a GA resident, and get silver status from code 2308. Do any of you see these as being conflicting? I think they all will work? That is about 20K in miles right there. Not bad for a $350 dollar ticket. Thanks alot.

Yes, it's my understanding that only actual flight miles or the 500 mile segment minimum count toward the silver and gold challenges.

Some questions

1) Is the first time bonus for the first time you book on usair.com period or 1st time after registering

2)Is it available for people who are 2000-01 members.

3)Whats the link for registering. Here's the only url I found
