Practical Travel Safety Issues - Follow ups on these cases...

What happened to the $10 million lawsuit brought by Robin Kassner? She was the young woman who suffered a concussion as a result of TSA's finding contact solution in her bags. I can't find any follow-ups on this past July 2008.
I just read that Nadine Hays (woman traveling with the 93-year-old mother who needed her applesauce) got her charges dismissed.
And what about Steve Beirfeldt?
Does anyone have any updates on these cases that made so much news when they first hit the media?
I'd love to know how these cases are being resolved.

Bierfeldt (and the ACLU) settled before going to trial when the TSA agreed to change their procedures and stop fishing for cash. Not sure on the others.

Charges were dismissed but I thought the TSA was still threatening to fine her. However, maybe they let that quietly go away.

Last thing I heard about Kassner was maybe a year ago, and her case was ongoing.
Bierfeld's case was picked up by the ACLU and TSA entered into a consent decree, changing their policies about cash.
Charges were dismissed against Hays (provided she got in no trouble during the following six months), and TSA subsequently levied a $2,500 fine which she vows she will never pay. Her mom died a couple of months ago.

What happened with the teen girl who was traveling with friends, got the pat down, and when her parents found out filed a lawsuit? I think they were from Baltimore?

Did they actually file a lawsuit?

Presumably a civil penalty.
What about the young woman who was subjected to a "joke" by a screener who pretended he found drugs in her carry-on?
