Is mileage figured separately for each leg, or for the total? (The route I have in mind is CMH-CLT-BNA. The total mileage of the two segments is 677. Can that be done on one certificate, or would it cost two?) I would imagine on the total, since otherwise the attached "connection coupon" would be a bit on the meaningless side, but stranger things are true in this world...

I would imagine on the total</font>Yep... you surrender the amount of coupons for the miles of the complete trip, not for each segment (unless you are upgrading a single segment...).

Thanx. (And the single segment might actually make sense for me on some itineraries, given that the 45-minute F100 flight CLT-CHA isn't worth an extra one in my book--or that I might have to take a Dash-8, on that route, where upgrades are no good anyway.)
