US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-2005 America West merger) - Online booking bonuses

Can anybody confirm getting the 10,000 mile bonus for three online bookings? I've made two trips so far, have only received 1,000 miles per trip. Am about to make res #3 today.

Is this a targeted bonus????

Also, I've noticed another bonus I'm not getting and do not know if others have seen. You get another 500 bonus miles for booking online with your DM Visa card.

The first time I qualified for the bonus 10,000 miles, they were correctly added to my account. Since then, though, it hasn't been so good. I called about a month ago and they updated my account with two 10,000 miles bonuses from the previous months. Now I'm due another two bonuses, so I'll probably call in a few weeks. I had waited two months past the qualifying flight before contacting them, so clearly they had time, but for some reason the miles aren't posting. I don't have the Visa card, so can't share any experiences with that.

Just spoke to DM Cust Svc. Apparently, they are having problems with this promo posting properly, but the rep expected them to do a sweep once the promo ends to credit any missed flights.

She also updated all of my bonuses back to February.

I was also missing my 1,000 point bonus for one online booking, but after e-mailing DM CS they happily put the miles in my account. (Now if I can get my 5,000 MCI miles I'll be in Jamaica in no time! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif )

I'm also missing the bonuses - I got the regular 1000 miles for the first two - not the extra 2000, then I just completed my third and haven't received that yet. I just contacted DM and the rep told me that I may not get the bonus at all because I had registered for both 2280 and 2281 and that they may cancel each other out. Has anyone else had that problem? I've registered for all bonuses in the bonus thread and now I'm afraid this might have hurt my bonus chances.

I registered for both 2280 and 2281. Neither bonus posted properly by itself. However, by calling the DM service centre, they were more than happy to post the miles under 2280 for me twice for six online bookings. I never mentioned having registered for both offers, and they said it wasn't a problem to post them manually. Good luck. You might just try calling until you get a helpful agent. As Gold Preferred, I've found about 95% of the folks I talk to are just wonderful! I've even gotten the same person on multiple calls, which is nice. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

called the DM service center today about bonuses. Apparently there seems to be two running around. One gives you miles = 3,000 = 3,000 = 4,000. One gives you miles = 1,000 = 1,000 = 8,000. If you use the dial in line and sign up for both you wind up cancelling each other out. Thus, they have to go in manually and credit the miles.

Interestingly, the DM person knew when I signed up for all the bonuses. The computer records the sign-up date. Thus if you're trying to retroactively claim credit using a bonus for a trip you've already taken, you may not get it.

BTW, the person had no clue re: the DM Visa bonus..... That was a new one to her. I offered to fax to her the printout of the usairways.com website. She finally found the bonus.

I am missing 7K right now and another 7K after this weekend. I also got the email notice and emailed Customer Service after my first 3 onlines and got credited with 7K. I am going to wait until after the 30th and ask for all the credits at once.
