TalkBoard Topics - New "FlyerTalk Host"?

With today's announcement in CommunityBuzz,

that SanDiego1K has been appointed to the title of "FlyerTalk Community Director", I was wondering does the TB consider that SanDiego1K will fill the position of FlyerTalk Host, as that position is specified in the TB Guidelines? Or are there other guidelines that specify how the FlyerTalk Host will be defined after Randy's departure?

Speaking solely for myself, I don't think it's a matter that TB has any hold over. I suspect IB plan that this is the case, and also suspect that she will become the 'host'.

There are, in my mind, a number of questions like this which need clarification before we get to 31 December, but as it's barely two weeks since Randy decided to leave, I will wait for future announcements.

This may be a subject TB needs to deal with (either internally or in conjunction with IB and/or the FTCD), but let's let the dust settle on the announcement and then we'll take a look at it.
