Some of these fares are good news but they have taken some cheaper fares off the system. Yesterday I was looking at a $187 RT fare ALB-ORD but today it is $252. It isn't that the seats were sold since I had a choice of 15 different flights in both directions. When you use the "flexible" option on usairways.com the old fare no longer exists. Thanks to this sale, I will not be taking the trip.
In playing around on the site the last few days, I confirmed that you really need to use the "flexible" option, even if you know the dates you are going to fly. It brings up less expensive fares then the "set" option. If you keep asking for more flights it brings will eventually get to the 3+ (each way) segment options for you milage run fans.

I lived in Seattle pre-Bill Gates and almost pre-Starbucks and would like to visit again. Got room? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif I can confirm mileshound's staements because I lost out on some great fares for my biweekly commute to CT. Some of these fares seem to be 1 day deals. On the system today-gone tomorrow.
