Mexico - All Inclusive Mexico - Need advice.

Hello,

I've just booked a one week all inclusive to the Riviera Maya in two weeks time. This is our first trip to Mexico and our first all inclusive. What are some of your tips and tricks to making a better experience?

Cash. How much and which currency?
What about safety and security of myself and my belongings?

As far as cash goes, just bring your bank card, and a few u.s. dollars if you have them for a taxi when you get off the plane. Try to use ATMs that are bank affilliates, i.e. bancommer, banamex hsbc scotia inverlat santander. Pretty much every grocery store has reputable ones, as well as most farmacie guadalajara stores. You will get pesos at the fairest exchange. Watch your belongings as you would anywhere else you travel. Don't leave jewellry or cash laying around. Some hotels have in room safes. If yours does, use it.
