BA and US have never really gotten along since their broken partnership back in the mid 90's. I recall(back then) seeing award options to take a BA concorde!
But, the industry is a very different place and BA+US parted ways on not so nice terms, so don't count on any easy way to transfer points between each other.
And, since BA is part of the Oneworld Alliance with AA, you can't even use your US points to get an AA award for travel on BA.
