US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Hotel Certs w/ Award Tix

I've got a bunch of these hotel certificates that came with award tickets. They say they're good for 50% off stays at most (if not all) of US's hotel partners. Has anyone used these before? Are they good for 1/2 off the rack rate, or 1/2 off the lowest rate you can find? Can you earn frequent guest points on stays using these certs? Specifically, I'd be interested in using them for stays at Starwood properties (Sheraton, Westin, etc.). Thanks!

I think they're 50% off the rack rate. You'll have to find the hotel you want, then call the appropriate chain(assuming it's on the list) and request the rate. I would recommend checking the internet for discounted rates first, so you know whether what you're quoted is of any value.
