US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - USAir to AA to Japan?

Can I use USAir miles for the 200,000 AA award for 2 free first class tix to Japan?

It's not on the award list?

I had to use 125K for first to Japan on AA

USAirways took the AA award chart off the website. But, you can still redeem through 8/23, and actually make the trip through 8/02.

Here's the AA awards for Japan:
Economy: 65,000(AAY65)
biz: 90,000(AAC90)
first: 125,000(AAF121)
Off Peak economy(10/15 - 4/30): 40,000(AAY401)

Thanks...I was concerned that since they weren't on the chart, they couldn't be used. I take it the 200,000 mile award for two first class seats still applies??

It's a subset of all the AA awards -- those are the only AAwards you can redeem joint miles for, I believe.

That AA chart was definitely not on USAirways web site a week or two ago, but PITFLYER is correct in that it is clearly there again. I don't think there is a 2 for 200,000 award. You'd need to have 200,000 points with AA and redeem through them.

for these awards that use miles from both accounts, do they have to be concentrated on one airline? or could i fly us over to europe and aa back?

I think you can do that, because I've mixed US and AA equipment on combined awards from them. Call your Dividend Miles rep and confirm this.
