US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Started late, didn't make Silver, do I have any options?

I started flying for business in August and made 20 segments by 12/31, not enough for Silver. However, if I'd started earlier in the year I would have most definitely qualified (on segments, most of my flights are short east coast hops so I wouldn't have made it on miles). Do I have any options, is there someone I can contact at USAirways to plead my case. Has anyone out there done this before? BTW, I'm scheduled for 8 more segments this month.

Thanks for any advice you can give.

You can always ask customer service. I was in the same situation as you a couple of years ago. Two months - Nov & Dec, 24 segments. I didn't do anything and just waited till I qualified the next year as Silver, then Gold, then Chairman's.

As a Hokie fan, no you do not have any options. You also don't have Vick.

Sorry, just couldn't resist jabbing a fellow Richmonder.

No we don't have Vick, but we do have the rest of an amazing team . . .including Suggs :-) Good natured ribbing is always appreciated :-)

And by the way, welcome to FlyerTalk.

I think your appearance brings the Richmond FlyerTalk population up to three.

Thanks for the welcome . . . I'm not surprised there's only three of us, who would voluntarily choose to fly out of Richmond AKA "you can't there from here without a connection and paying obscene amounts of money" ;-)

Just wanted to let you guys know that while I was away on a trip this week I got a message from a very nice gentleman at Dividend Miles telling me they were moving me up to Silver. Just goes to prove you won't get without asking.

Plus, not sure if any employees read this but my hats off to the folks at CLT, despite all the horrible delays I (and lots of other folks) encountered going home Friday night, everyone was smiling, friendly and helpful (such a difference from PHL!!)
