US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - CS0007 upgrades
I got a yellow Customer Service upgrade, which is valid on ANY fare at any time prior to the flight - even if booked months in advance. I'll save it for one of those hard to upgrade red-eyes from the west coast.
What class of service are they looking for when requesting it? I know the NA upgrades require G class seating(right) for domestic upgrades.

Triple zero 7 upgrades are good on any price ticket. They book in F, and you get the 150 percent mileage credit normally given for a purchased full fare. Don't waste it.

How are these "Triple Zero" upgrades distributed?

You get them as compensation for service disruptions, lost luggage, etc. Sometimes they are sent by customer service directly, although the various stations also have them, and have discretion to give them out. For example, Chexfan, I live part of the year in Seattle, and was given one in the baggage area at SeaTac when they shipped my dog to CLT by mistake. They also know me there as a regular (and a US1), so that probably helped.

I think something more than a 0007 coupon should have been given for sending your dog to the wrong place!!

I would have turned around, got back on a plane going where I just came from and would beat the living daylights out of the moron who was responsible..then get like ten 0007 just as soon as I got out from jail.
But then again...I wont ship my dog by plane now. I'm even more scared after hearing this.

No sweat...he arrived a couple of hours later, and it was obvious they had made sure he had fresh water.

I hope they treated you like a king and kissed your butt for a royal screwup in my mind.

Deelmakur I am glad to hear we are not the only crazy people having there dog flying coast to coast. By the way I am curious to know how to upgrade dogs to first going from CMH to SFO our dog paid only 50 $ less than the two leg folks upstairs so for that ticket price I request an upgrade give them some sweet biscuits a toy to play play music something. By the way glad to hear the dog came in safely a misdirected dog would be our nightmare as well.

Eurousair..... my dog reported that while the food was good, and the pawroom adequate, he was unable to get a Benjie, Lassie, or Beethoven movie. Hey, nobody's perfect.
