US Airways Group Inc. (U.N), the No. 6 U.S. airline, on Wednesday reassured analysts and investors that the $60 a share purchase price in its pending sale to UAL Corp.'s (UAL.N) United Airlines is not being renegotiated.
``United is absolutely committed to this transaction the way it has been structured,'' Rakesh Gangwal, chief executive of US Airways, said in a conference call. ``That is far from our radar screen. We are very comfortable about the $60 (a share).''
