US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Flyertalk vs. AOL
I've found solace in this board! The AOL travellers board for USAirways(and other airlines) seems to be dominated by FA's, pilots and mechs - all stabbing each other and bickering about their seniority. I rarely get any good info. BUT - it is a good source for nitty gritty technical info (like the future of the A330).

And what did our friends on the AOL board say about the future of the A330?

Can you post a link. I'd like to review that site. I agree we gain so much information and tips on this board as it's main users are VFF but I'd love to get the inside scoop too. I also monitor Planebusiness.com's US message board. It's also about 50% internal US employee BS but is a good source for inside info. The FA"s that frequent that site dispense very sage advice to us CP's.

Reading some of those comments on the AOL forum is pretty scary, when you think some of the people writng that stuff are actually flying people around up there.

I used to lok at planebusiness a lot - quite good stuff often there. Lost the bookmark and just now tried www.planebusiness.com (http://www.planebusiness.com) and get an "object moved" message. Is there a new link someone has please?

try: www.planebusiness.com/cgi-bin/ultimate.cgi (http://www.planebusiness.com/cgi-bin/ultimate.cgi)
for the AOL forum - i have only accessed it throught the AOL software so dont know if its possible through the AOL website. but from the software follow the TRAVEL link to forums to airlines to USAirways. there's actally a list of airlines but not all have activity. it seems that most posters are employees. info is usually biased heavily to one side or the other but is interesting sometimes.

Plane Business in general: http://www.planebusiness.com (some very interesting articles)
Direct link to the Plane Business Message Boards: http://www.planebusiness.com/cgi-bin/ultimate.cgi
The AOL board is restricted to members of AOL, obviously.
Hope that helps.

It is still there. Just finished reading that site before I jumped over to this one.
Try the links above posted by others who also read it. They work.

Thanks for the longer link ... that works for me, other short one still comes up as too busy or moved!
Whilst on this area, the Professional Pilot BB is also often of great interest if you have not visited it:
