The gas station (Shell) on the way to DFW Rental Car Return is closed. Less than a mile further down the same road are 2 gas stations at the first traffic light.
It's worth mentioning because I saw several cars make a U-turn at the closed gas station, rather than driving on ahead. The next gas stations and next stoplight are far out-of-sight, but keep going on the same road that leads past the rental car retirn entrances.
Gossip at the Valero gas station was that the Shell near the Rental Car Return lot will be closed 3-4 months due to a sinking foundation. By driving ahead less than a mile, you'll also get gas at neighborhood prices, rather than the higher airport prices.
