I had a question about booking reward trips when travelling with an infant. AFAIK, a ticket is required for each passanger. If you are a paying customer, Amtrak requires information about infant children, but does not charge for those under 2 years old.
How do I book an AGR award for 2 adults and 1 infant without using points for the infant ticket?

Thanks!

Thanks! You are allowed to travel with an infant, no cost, on an award ticket. I believe you can book online, and then call AGR to add the information to the reservation (name of the child, and the age), but I would call AGR to confirm this: 800-307-5000.

If you're going to call anyway, you may as well book the entire thing over the phone. There are only a handful of trips that are bookable online anyhow (no connections, no accommodations, etc).
