Mileage Run Discussion - Need info about Sky team

Hi
I'm a Platinum Card holder with Air France.
Last week on my way back from Paris to Bangkok (flying in Business class)
Air France put me on a Lufthansa flight due to the ongoing strike issues in CDG airport.
Do I still get my qualifying miles to keep my Platinum card?

If I fly with China Southern do I get miles to keep the Platinum level?

I have done it before, same situation. It was many years ago tough. But I did it thru calling Delta airlines, and explaining the situation, and they did credit my account.

Off course you are dealing with air france, which is different. But it is worth a shot.

I then actually also got credit on my Star Alliance for the Lufthansa flights, so it was actually a nice double dip.
