Hi everyone,
I'm going to the Redskins/Eagles MNF on 11/15 and was wondering about public transportation back to the DC area after the game. I checked out the Metro website, and it said the last train leaves the Morgan Boulevard stop @ 11:30pm - with an 8:30pm kick-off that is going to be hard to make.

Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions on how to get back to downtown DC?

Thanks!

Metro hours are often extended for sports events, including Redskins games.

It's usually a couple of weeks in advance when WMATA announces their extended schedule for a Redskins game. I'm fairly certain they'll accommodate riders for that Monday night game as well.

I'd keep checking the news section of their website and/or call their customer service line at (202) 637-7000 to make sure.

Virtually 100% certain that they will keep metro open later to accomodate the football crowds.
