US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Does US comp or has challenges for elite status?

Hopefully I didn't miss out an old archived message. So the question is:

I will be flying some 14,300 creditable miles on US (before the double bonus) in April. My account has been inactive since 1993 (when I moved to RNO and US pulls out of the west!). FWIW, I do have elite on Canadian (Gold/2nd level) and AA (1st level).

US comped my TWA status last year - It takes about a week so ya better hurry - contact the Dividend Miles Service Center. US has been great - upgrade certs came with my kit and Silver Preffered gets a 50% mileage bonus - better than United.
