A Systemwide upgrade Certificate is good for a one-way upgrade (including connecting flights) on any paid fare. They are systemwide so they can be used on any flight (domestic or international) with two or more classes of service. I have already used them to upgrade from coach to Envoy on a recent trip to London.

It is a one class upgrade so it good for:

paid coach to domestic first class
paid coach international to Envoy
paid Envoy Class to International First Class (on A-330s)

BTW, A-330's begin coming online in May for international. US will get seven this year and at least 3 more in early 2001. They have 10 firm delivery orders and 20 options at this time. The 20 options can be for the A-330-300 model they are currently getting or changed to A-330-200's or any of the A-340 line.
