After Wolf repeated earlier statements that US Airways will be joining an alliance soon the key question is which one??
Any insider knowledge or speculation on which one they will join?????
My personal opinion is after the hook up with AA and the recent peace with BA old lawsuit was dropped and their partnership with Deutsche BA a 100 % subsidary for BA and via codeshare a German feeder service to US Airways transatlantic flight from Munich it will be one world. Great news if true getting status miles on BA and AA and Cathy Pacific to Asia and the long awaited lounge acess for Preferred Gold and Chairmanns.

Agreed on oneworld, for the reasons you have noted. BA might even let US get the PIT-LGW route out of this.

Flew Envoy from LGW to PHL last night... head FA says that now that the FA contract is in place US will be "courting" alliance partners... "Star" was the first word out of his mouth... I'd prefer oneworld, it seems like a better match to me. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
