Hello all,

I just found this place over the weekend, and i'm already addicted. One question, my dad is going PHL-->SFO this friday (before the strike!), and the plane was full, so i upgraded him to 1st class (20k miles). Well, I called the 800 # on the card, and they hooked me up with the right people who reassigned his seat and all. I was then told to call 336-661-8390 the next morning to get the award certs. I do this, and then 3 days later, i look at the acct balance online, ans they took off 20,000, and 20,000 again. So i call the 800# and they refer me to the 336# (div miles cust serv?). I keep calling and get stuck on hold. My question is, is there an 800# for this, so i don;t get socked with toll charges? Thanks.

Sorry Mark - no 800 number for Dividend Miles Customer Service. They want to encourage people to use the website and e-mail in. In all candor, there is an 800 number for elites (SP, GP, CP) - so if you're one, you should have it.

Thanks, my dad used to be elite, when he was flying philly to asheville, NC every week, but he's since lost it. I'll see if i can dig up the # in his old literature http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Even if you get the number, it won't let you through without entering your FF number. When you input that number, the phone system can confirm if you are elite. If not, the call is blocked.

Deelmakur, not so. I'm Silver Preferred now; I called the SP number, entered my friend's (non-Preferred) number in, got the account balance, hit "0" for the Dividend Miles agent, and got one!
Bottom line -- you *can* get to Dividend Miles via a toll-free number -- if you know a Preferred number.

Retarded. If they're going to ask for the number (which in many cases is not even transferred to the person I'm going to speak to) they should at least filter on it.
