Question... so I'll be flying to Paris in January on the new US Airways fleet. Excited to try that!

But can anyone recommend if there is a "better" side of the plane to sit on? Specifically on the flight TO and the flight FROM. I've been to Paris before, but it will be my first time flying directly to Paris.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thx!

I don't have a preference as to the side--- but since US doesn't cater excessively, I'd recommend avoiding the last row or two if you'd like the largest amount of choice for your meal services. On every Envoy flight I've been on this year (6) they've run out of at least one of the three dinner choices and on one, they ran out of one of the two breakfast choices as well. If you're in the last row, your chances of getting what you want aren't as high as if you're in the front.

Would be nice if they'd reverse the order of service in the cabin if a significant number of passengers miss choices on the first service. Or just cater more heavily like some of their foreign counterparts.

I assume you are expecting the new Envoy Suites. I like 2H. Close to the front so you get your beverages and meal sooner then off to sleep sooner, but far enough from the Galley and Lavs. For daytime flight it's nice b/c you have three windows to yourself. Otherwise I think they're all fairly similar except last row and middle after row 1 are slightly shorter.

CDG is fairly far from Paris and don't recall having views of Paris as you arrive or depart. Others may know more about this.

I've attached a few pics of the Envoy Suite and meals to get you all excited! Food was fairly good but avoid the grouper at all costs.

Thank you all for the posts... and the photos. I appreciate it!

Cool! I originally booked myself in 2H for the departure and arrival flights; sounds like I made a good call.

Thanks guys!
