I will be arriving from DPS on KLM at 1155pm and I will be departing the nex day 8 hours later with Tiger to CRK Budget terminal and no luggage interline, so pretty much impossible to get airside from what I read. There are a few suggestions as to what to do in daytime, any suggestions fora quiet nite out? 4 days in Bali will tale their toll I guess, never been there, and then 12 days in Angeles, mainly for oral surgery but still wild.Thank you. My plans would be a drink or two, dinner, hit the gym at the airport, shower and sleeping on the plane to CRK, then a little more at the hotel assuming Tiger will fly, having read horrible stories.

Book a cheap hotel in the city (Hotel 81/Fragrance chains), take a taxi there, eat/drink/whatever, then crash for a few hours and take a cab back to the airport. Geylang has the triple advantage of cheap hotels, lots of good food and relatively proximity to the airport, but it's also Singapore's largest red-light district and can get a little... colorful at night. (Not dangerous though, especially compared to the Phils.)
Agree with jpatokal's suggestion.
Head out to a hostel/budget hotel and set up base there.
A suggestion would be to hit the inns at Dunlop Street or Upper Dickson Road.
Lots of tourist head there for the cheap and accessible place to crash. Plenty of food and bars around there to keep you entertained till your next flight.
