I want to book a 9 night stay from Oct 18 - Oct 27 in IC Presidente Mexico City. When I fill out these dates my average daily rate is $312.33 + tax for a Club Room (making it $3,506.64 incl charges and tax for the whole stay), however when I select Oct 17 - Oct 27 (so 10 nights) I get an average daily rate $223.44 (making the total $2,554.64).
So basically, with 10 nights the total fee is $1000 cheaper than 9 nights! My question is - can I just book the 10 night stay, and e-mail the hotel that I will check in a day later and get the lower rate? I have no problems (obviously) paying for the 1st night and not staying there.
