Ok... since it seems that Chinese food is not too good in TX, Im thinking I need to focus on Japanese food instead.
So then... what are the top 3 sushi joints in Houston...?

There are lots of good ethnic food eateries in Houston. Chowhound or yelp is better forum for food related queries.
On sushi, kata robata and kubo are two good sushi places.
