Booked on a red e-deal BNE-MEL Tuesday morning (10:55 departure), 737.

Used the checkin kiosk @ BNE at approx 10:00, assigned seat 2C (wohoo) - business full, economy full. Clearly the combination of school holidays + the Virgin debacle has been a lucrative one for QF.

Op-ups are sweet. Op-ups on sectors longer than SYD-MEL or SYD-CBR are sweeter. Op-ups from a sub-$100 fare are the sweetest of all.

Very true.

School holidays is great for business travel I have found over the last few years, the Op-Up's seem to happen with more regularity.

And yes, the DJ schamozzle would also be helping out. Hopefully it drags into next week... ;)
