Hi all,

this is the hotel that all BW owners going for a 'business traveller friendly' rating need to stay at.

The hotel is located in the miserable little MN town of Eagan, but that at least means that it is close to MSP if you have an early morning flight out of there.

In terms of the property itself, though, it ticks all the boxes. Things I liked:

- Upon entering the hotel I could tell that they pay a lot of attention to cleanliness. The place was immaculate, in stark contrast to some of the fleapit BWs that unfortunately are still top be found in abundance.

- I got a good rate of $79.00 at this property, and at a time when MSP was packed out for whatever reason: I couldn't get into any Hilton properties in the area except for a Hampton which was >$200.

- The cheap rate was for a queen room, but when I checked in, I noticed that the 'Diamond' next to my BW number was highlighted in blue, meaning that someone actually took the time to look for elites each morning. I asked "My reservation says queen, but might you have a king?" The lady said "I was already going to ask you about that. I'll upgrade you"

- The upgrade was a 'real' upgrade to a 'tech room'- a fairly bizarre concept, admittedly (came with a printer, PC that hooked up to a huge flat screen, massage chair and... 3 e-candles :-S). The massage chair and the chinese lumps of plastic were politely unused, but printing my BP in my own room is always a nice touch.

- The beds are quality pillow tops

- ........The biggie..... No checking out! I awoke to discover my invoice waiting for me under the door. I don't think I've ever seen this at a BW before, and for someone like me who often leaves very early in the morning, not having to mess around checking out really does make a huge psychological difference.

All in all, a big well done to the management at this property: I would honestly switch back to 100% BW if every hotel was run like this.

Cheers,

Paul.

I totally agree! I'm a frequent traveller to MSP and I stayed at this property several times. It is convenient to the airport, their shuttle service is great, the front-desk are very friendly.

I was upgraded several times to their fancy "Tech-Room" but not all the tech-rooms has a printer but comes with a massage chair and a flat screen television. On some of the tech rooms, the tv is hooked to a full swing wall mount and that is cool.

Breakfast(Warm) is OK!

Check-out process is fairly easy one, they even email your receipt.
