I would like to bring up this place. Antica Pizzeria is an authentic Neapolitan pizzeria in Andersonville. While they have a full menu of salads, pastas, and entrees, it's really the pizza that takes center stage - though every salad and pasta I've had has been great.
I have been here many times with friends; every time, it's great. The pizzas are light, with just the right amount of cheese and sauce, on a very thin, delicate crust. They are cooked in the wood burning brick oven, right in the middle of the open kitchen. The owner, Mario, is very personable and will start to sit down with you at the table and chat after you've been there a couple times. Also, the bread he serves is made from the pizza dough: so yummy with some of the olive oil they give you.
The "special" soup of the day is always on the menu and always delicious. It's a variety (either tomato-based or not) of Italian bean soup with some bread in it.
Also, all desserts are made in-house by Grace, one of the waitresses. Her tiramisu is amazing.
It's also BYOB. A really great neighborhood authentic Italian pizzeria.
