Want to book a few nights post wedding pre honeymoon in the Keys not too far from Miami. Cheeca Lodge vs. Casa Morada vs. Little Palm. I noticed years ago some negative on Little Palm and Cheeca but noting positive or negative on Casa Morada?

Sadly (living in south Florida for five years), my only experience with the Keys is 3 nights at Cheeca Lodge this past May. However, I can attest that it is an absolutely beautiful property. We received a glass of champagne at check-in. The staff were all very accommodating. The rooms were beautiful with resort/Tommy Bahama (I think) furniture, very comfortable beds, nice couch, big TV (although my complaint is that it is all the way to the right side of the beds instead of directly centered by the bed. There is a hefty resort fee (I believe $39 per day) but it includes A LOT of goodies...ie. Internet, free DVDs, water activities, etc. so not much nickel and diming. The restaurant I ate at for breakfast was great, but my complaint lies in a lack of dining options due to the relatively small property size. There's a typical/great poolside bar/restaurant, but the dinner options are expensive and limited. The town is quaint and not much nearby, but I do have a restaurant recommendation: Marker 88. Tip: go for sunset and eat dinner.
I hope this helps. Enjoy!
