Caribbean - Traveling with meat

We are flying to the Caribbean via AA in November. We would like to take Cryovaced meat. Can we carry on or pack in suitcases?

I don't think you'll have a problem bringing it on the plane. You may have a problem with agriculture inspection at your destination, however. Best to check web site for country you are traveling to regarding rules on what you can/can not bring in.

Legal importation requires an import permit, a health certificate, and veterinary inspection of the meat upon arrival.

Coming from the UK you cannot bring any meat in your luggage:

If you need protein, you can find lots of fresh fish in Antigua.
