I apologize if this was touched upon before, but I will be flying LAX-NRT on ANA on Oct 17th and was wondering how to find out whether it will be the 777-300ER (new flat-beds) or the 200ER.
The booking tool on the ANA site says 777-300ER/200ER.
Is there a way for me to find out? I can change flights around 24 hours in advance if required.
Thanks in advance,

LAX-NRT for October will be flown with the 777-300ER with the OLD slanted flat bed. The new flat bed is currently for JFK/LHR/FRA routes at this moment. For continental US, they are only deploying the 777-200ER with old slanted flat bed when HND-LAX gets started.

Thank you for the quick response UALboy.
How do keep up with this? Business Traveler? ANA website?
Thanks again

It's on the ANA website, but you can also tell by checking the seat map. Old style 777s are 2-3-2 in business and 3-3-3 in coach. New style 777s are 1-2-1 in business (might show up as 2-4-2) and 2-4-3 in coach.

Wow. This is great news. I always wanted a flight to Tokyo at night. I can now have a full work day in the US and be in Tokyo for a full work day.

NH had been using 77W for years as well as in forseeable future for LAX-NRT since the introduction of the type of plane. The previous plane type for this route was 744/772, it had been so long I don't even remember when it wasn't a 77W.
