Hi

Has anyone been to the duty free shop at Washington DCA recently? I'm wondering if it has a decent selection. Particularly champagne/wine or Lucky Strike cigarettes.

Thanks

I think people are hesitating (I am) because we can't recall if there is ANY duty free available now that AC has moved to terminal A. I am trying to reconstruct my steps from entry to the terminal to the gate and I can't really see where Duty Free might be. It is possible that you could get stuff carried over from the terminal B.
I think it is safe to say that IF there is duty free in Terminal A, the selection is unlikely to be extensive

Sorry, hadn't seen the original post. Yes, there is a very small duty free "shelf" in this terminal, post security. They have very limited items. Almost no wine (1 or 2 bottles?) and I believe, no champagne. You might find the Lucky Strikes but also unsure on that.

It's been a little while since I flew AC to YYZ, but I believe that Duty Free at DCA consists of a cart near the boarding gate. In any case, the selection was very limited.

Wine is usually cheaper in "town" than at duty free stores.
