OTTAWA — A problem with an unruly passenger on a Westjet flight arriving in Ottawa on Sunday night left more than 100 passengers aboard the flight waiting anxiously for their luggage after being told that the police investigation required all their bags to be held.

I just read this too in an Ottawa paper.

I have a couple of questions…How did a argument over a seat turn into a situation where bags and the plane had to be re-screened?

And when it says a man with a gun escorted the man from the rear of the plane, I guess that means the guy with a gun was an air marshal? That or the witness (or the paper) left out that this person with the gun boarded the plane, went to the back and returned with the suspect

I've taken this flight quite a few times in the past few months so I'm quite curious
