An excellent deal. At least half off and this is one of the great museums of the world.

Choose one-year family membership for $55 or individual for $40.

You'd pay for this in one visit.

With almost 2 months of free days in a year, no need to pay at all, and you can bring as many friends and family as you want, whereas a memership can't.

The free days also don't include the Omnimax films, the optional U-505 onboard tour, and certain special exhibits.

Membership is worth it for the free unlimited Omnimax films and the free special exhibit tickets alone (it's $18 adult to see the upcoming Muppets, and that's about what Star Wars, etc. were; Omnimax is $8 or so).

And the membership includes 10% off in the gift shops and restaurants and free coat check in the winter and discounted indoor parking and the ability to get into the Coal Mine without waiting 90 minutes in line with melting-down children and the members' publication and ...

Also, have you ever been on the free days? I have, many times, and I ain't ever doing it again if I can avoid it.
