Midwest - DTW - how much time for customs and immigration?

Hi all,
I will be flying into DTW from AMS next month, and will have a domestic connecting flight with 90 minutes layover in DTW. Do you think 90 minutes is sufficient to clear immigration and customs? How far is the domestic terminal from international? All my flights are on DL.
Will DL provide me an alternative flight in case I miss my flight due to delay at immigration?

International and Domestic is in the same terminal, perhaps different concourses. 90 minutes should be plenty of time. Make sure you travel light to avoid any hassel.
